Gastronomy

Pag Cheese - Gourmand experts and all lovers of good food agree that the cheese from the island of Pag - Pag Cheese - is one of the best cheeses in Croatia and the world.

What to see

Kolan mud protected since 1988 in the category of ornithological reservation. During spring and autumn it is a significant habitat for migration birds.

Mandre- a tourist resort located in the southern part of the island of Pag. Mandre offers a gorgeous view of Silba and Olib and of the little islands Maun and Skrda which abound in coves and beautiful beaches.

Kolan- the central place of our newly established district is Kolan, whose inhabitants mostly occupy themselves with sheep-breeding, viticulture and recently even with tourism because of the vicinity of the sea and beautiful beaches.

Kolanjski Gajac- is a tourist village built in mid 80's, located in a beautiful cove, with a view to a little island nearby, Skrda, and the others islands of this archipelago.

Beaches

In a small bay in the center of Mandre, protected from the wind is the Mala Mandre beach. Since 2006 it has been carrying the Blue Flag. The beach is exceptionally different and has a wide specter of content.
Along with the Mala Mandre beach in Mandre, the Kolan municipality is rich with various breathtaking beaches. The guests have sand beaches (Sv Duh, Cista. Prnjica), pebble beaches (Katarelac, Gajac, Girenica) or the stone-pebble beach in Mandre. All beaches are surrounded by crystal clear sea and well equipped.

Active vacation - Bicycle Routes

Bicycle Routes - covering the entire landscape of the island of Pag. Along with the marked bike trails, there are man trails suitable for riding bikes.
