In our area, we most certainly advise you to visit the cheese production sites in Kolan in order to take with you a taste of Kolan in a piece of cheese that makes us famous around the world, while in the cheese factory Gligora you can also view the production process and eventually taste the cheeses. Furthermore, you must by all means climb the highest peak of the island of Pag, St. Vid, that is only an hour and 15 minutes away from Kolan if you take the path; you can also visit the ornithological reserve Kolanjsko blato, an important European bird habitat.

Gligora cheese factory is open to individual guests who may visit and savour the cheeses without any prior notice.
Gligora cheese factory is open for tourist visits every day (except for Saturday) at 11.00 & 13:00 hours.
The Gligora shop in Kolan is open every day from 8.00 to 20.30 hours.

The Town of Novalja
In Novalja you can see an antique aqueduct, the City Museum, and those who are somewhat more courageous can enjoy a light walk (approximately 1 h) on the road taking you to the ferry where you can enjoy the view of the neighbouring islands and Velebit from the well-known Pag triangle. The Town of Pagg
In the very town of Pag there is a possibility of a half-day or entire day excursion in the company of a guide so that you can get to know the beauty and the antiquities of the Town of Pag. Povljana Municipality
In Povljana you can also take a look at two ornithological reserves, Veliko and Malo blato, the Segal healing mud, as well as visit the Panos viewpoint in order to make photos of the beauty that surrounds you. (Information – tourist board of the Povljana Municipality at 023/692-003)
The Town of Zadarr
The Town of Zadar is a cultural and historic centre of our Zadar County. Only 45 minutes away from the Kolan Municipality, the town of Zadar is worth your visit. There are numerous historic monuments, beautiful churches, old walls and excursions to the surrounding islands that will make your stay in the area even more difficult to forget.
